Call the vote

Before a measure reaches the floor, we open a question on it: how will this member vote, on this bill, at this stage? Make the call. When the roll call is published it scores itself — no panel, no points for a good argument. The chamber settles it.

Calls are final once made, and a question the chamber never answered is abandoned rather than guessed at — everyone who called it is returned unscored. Nothing here feeds a state score, an official's record, or the Accountability Index.
